Summary of Duties:
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University Spokane with Dr. Boyang (Jason) Wu. The research will be focused on molecular/cellular and preclinical studies on 1) elucidating the intrinsic and extrinsic neural impact on lethal disease progression and therapy resistance in prostate cancer, and 2) characterizing the neural niche in immune response and immunotherapy efficacy of prostate cancer.

Required Qualifications:
- Candidates should have an earned Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, with a proven track record of creativity and productivity.
- Candidates are expected to be self-motivated and have strong oral/written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with cancer xenograft mouse models and bioinformatic data mining is highly desired.

Annual Salary: $57,958.00-$62,139.00 Commensurate with experience
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.

Temporary: This is a temporary position expected end on July 31, 2025. The potential for renewal is available dependent on satisfactory performance and mutual consent.
