Teaching assistant Job Description:
The teaching assistant's responsibilities include developing applications material, attending conferences, consulting with other academics and professionals, supervising undergraduate students, grading assignments, and being an active member of the university.
Teaching assistant Responsibilities:
- Preparing and delivering tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
- Developing applications material that can be used across a number of platforms.
- Collaborating with other academics to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base.
- Setting and grading assignments and tests.
- Conducting research, and writing papers, journal articles, and books.
- Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the institution.
- Participating in training opportunities and initiatives at the institution.
- Providing support to students and other colleagues.
- Staying current by reading widely and producing published work in the field.
Teaching assistant Requirements:
- PhD Diploma and Master in Energy engineering.
- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Department description:
The Department of Electric Power Systems is part of Energy Engineering Faculty. It has a long tradition, having been founded in 1950, and entails renown specialists in the field of electric networks, high voltage engineering, electromagnetic compatibility, power system optimization, energy markets as well as electrical energy utilization and energy quality

Decision of the Competition Committee on the ranking of candidates, the nomination of the candidate who obtained the highest overall results, and the recommendation for appointment to the position: to be displayed at the premises of the Department where the competition was held by 14 October 2026.
Approval by the Faculty Council of the Competition Committee's Report: by 20 October 2026.
Approval by the University Senate of the Competition Committee's Report on the outcome of the competition: by 22 October 2026.
