The College of Business (COB) has been AACSB accredited for over 40 years. We offer BSBA, MBA, and MSA degrees and our School of Hospitality Management offers both a BS in Hospitality Management and an MS in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality. Additionally, the Miller School of Entrepreneurship offers a BS in Entrepreneurship. We are one of the largest Colleges of Business in the state with approximately 4,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students. To date, the COB has approximately 150 faculty members of the highest caliber, skilled in the scholarship of research, teaching, and application of knowledge. A strategic goal of the college is to create an environment where the faculty, staff, and students can thrive and be personally and professionally respected.

Job Duties: The Department of Management within the College of Business has a full time, Teaching Instructor position available beginning January 2026 and invites candidates to complete the online application. The Instructor will teach twelve semester hours of undergraduate Management courses and will be able to teach in a variety of management concentration areas. The position requires face-to-face instruction and may also include online delivery based upon departmental needs. The Instructor will also be expected to provide service to the university, community, and profession, and any other duties as assigned by the department chair; and must perform activities to maintain professional qualification as determined by accreditation standards.

Minimum Education/Experience: Masters degree with at least 18 credit hours of Graduate coursework in the teaching field or related discipline from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards. Alternatively, Masters degree with 5 years professional experience in the teaching field or related discipline from an accredited business school that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines and AACSB standards.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Prior teaching experience, international work experience, significant management experience are preferred as well as the ability to work and coordinate with multiple people and groups. MBA preferred; professional memberships/certifications desirable.
