The Department of Biology, and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Neuroscience Programs invite applications for four Teacher Scholar Postdoctoral Fellows beginning in July 2026.

Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or a related field is required for the position; ABD candidates are invited to apply.

Position Summary: Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellows will actively collaborate with one or more faculty members in the department on research projects and teach two courses per semester, with opportunities to teach introductory and/or advanced courses in their areas of interest. Two of these positions will support teaching in the Biology curriculum (biology.wfu.edu), one position will support a new major in Neuroscience (neuroscience.wfu.edu) and one position will support the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major (bmb.wfu.edu).
