About the Job
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of course content and lab experiences online, on campus, in the community or any combination of formats within a model of hybrid teaching and learning.
- Assist with grading of student work in a particular course(s) as directed by the course director
- Collaborate with faculty and staff support services to manage other aspects of course delivery in person or online as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Currently credentialed as an Occupational Therapist
- Proficient in Microsoft word and web-based communication systems.
- Eligible for Minnesota state license to practice occupational therapy-must have by start of employment
Desired Qualifications:
- Completed master’s degree.
- History of teaching others (within higher education preferred).
- Experience using online learning platforms
About the Department
The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is nationally recognized for excellence in preparing pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, occupational therapists, and medical laboratory scientists to tackle society’s toughest problems in Minnesota and across the globe. The College of Pharmacy offers degrees in the programs of pharmacy (PharmD, MS, PhD), occupational therapy (OTD), and medical laboratory sciences (BS, Certificate, MMLS, MS-BLS).
The pharmacy program is offered on the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses. The occupational therapy program is offered on the Twin Cities and Rochester campuses. The medical laboratory sciences program is offered on the Twin Cities campus. Interactive technology is used to keep all campuses connected.
Occupational Therapy
The University of Minnesota's OT program is the only public professional-level program in Minnesota and one of the oldest OT programs in the United States. OT professionals work with children and adults who have physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities that interfere with their ability to engage in life's tasks.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: Minimum pay per hour for these positions is $42; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
