About The Team

The Student Administration team is a group of dedicated professionals working across Admissions, Fees & Reporting and Student Progress. Together, they support every key stage of the student journey from application and recognition of prior learning to enrolment, fees, results, and graduation.

Known for their collaboration, efficiency and commitment to exceptional service, the team places students at the centre of everything they do. By working closely with colleagues across the University, Student Administration ensures a smooth, connected experience for students and contributes to Murdoch’s broader strategic goals.

Your New Role!

As the Team Leader, Enrolments and Progress, you’ll lead a dedicated team responsible for delivering all enrolment and academic progression services. You’ll manage course teach‑outs, discontinuations, progression outcomes, and ensure every process is accurate, efficient, and student‑focused.

You’ll also drive improvements to processes and systems, helping build a scalable and resilient service. Working closely with colleagues across Student Administration and the wider University, you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, positive experience for students and staff.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the Enrolments and Progress Team to deliver high‑quality, student‑centred services.

Oversee enrolment activities including class sign‑up, census dates, and communication with staff and students.

Manage academic progression outcomes and resolve unit validation and course set‑up issues.

This Continuous| Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $99K – $109K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Relevant tertiary qualification and substantial experience in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership skills with experience supporting and developing diverse, customer‑focused teams in the tertiary sector.

Solid understanding of enrolment and progression regulations, with proven compliance experience.

Commitment to excellent customer service and continuous process improvement.

Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
