Technical Services Coordinator
- Full-time, Continuing position
- HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus (on-campus role), however, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About You
You are an organised and proactive professional with the ability to coordinate technical services in a fast-paced education environment. You bring people leadership skills, with the capability to support and guide a team to deliver high-quality, consistent outcomes.
You have sound knowledge of technical operations and, ideally, a background in science, health and social care or a related field. You understand the importance of health and safety protocols and are committed to maintaining compliant, industry-standard facilities.
With strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you can manage day-to-day operations across a range of activities, equipment and processes. Experience in the education sector is desirable, along with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and external partners.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
- Experience in lead people in a technical environment.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining technical labs or equivalent industry experience, including coordinating maintenance of equipment and assisting in researching new technologies, systems and processes.
- Knowledge and application of OHS legislation and regulations particularly in regard to technical and studio environments.
- Ability to deliver flexible solutions to technical problems, preferably within an educational context.
- Ability to manage projects and lifecycle of equipment/resources.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent combination of knowledge, experience and education/training.
