Hourly hiring range $23 - $25. Salary commensurate with relevant experience.
The School of Social Work is seeking a proactive and highly organized Temporary Administrative Assistant to support Professor Betancourt, Director of the Research Program in Children and Adversity (RPCA).
In this role, you will be the central point of support, ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Director's schedule and travel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Expertly managing Professor Betancourt's complex calendar and scheduling meetings.
- Provide domestic and global travel planning support for the Faculty Director, including itinerary creation, bookings, materials prep, and post-travel reimbursements.
- Manage the Faculty Director's external engagements, including coordinating with external event organizers, venues, and media outlets related to the promotion and distribution of her work.
- Assist with copyediting, meeting prep, and document production for the Faculty Director, delegating to relevant personnel and doctoral students where needed.
- Prepare and submit detailed expense reports and manage reimbursements.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organization and multi-tasking skills along with the ability to prioritize the workload.
- Possess a high degree of discretion, judgment, and diplomacy.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills, specifically with written work.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, and BOX Drive.
