Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The School of Nursing, located within the College of Health and Human Services, is seeking temporary/part time faculty for the 2026-2027 Academic Year, with the ability to teach in one or more of the following disciplines: Nursing, Clinical Research.
The 2026-2027 Academic Year includes the following semesters: Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Summer 2027.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Undergraduate course teaching: Master's degree with 9 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline (nursing only) from an accredited institution.
Graduate course teaching: Terminal doctoral degree (nursing, research, education) from an accredited institution.
Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Teaching experience preferred
Required Certifications or Licensure
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) faculty must have an active North Carolina NP license and board certification
- Prelicensure and Nurse Educator faculty must have a North Carolina RN license
