Temporary Slate Support Specialist - Penn Engineering

The University of Pennsylvania, a world-renowned leader in education, research, and innovation, is seeking a Temporary Slate Support Specialist for Penn Engineering. This role reports to the Slate Application Developer in the Office of Academic Innovation and is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and maintaining the Slate CRM system, primarily for student success needs in online, on-campus masters, and graduate degrees, with potential support for admissions features.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and operate the Slate Admissions System for Penn Engineering, including online programs, on-campus masters, Ph.D., and K12 admissions rounds.
• Support the Student Success system features, manage turning modules on and off per cycle, and make system updates in collaboration with the Slate System Developer.
• Maintain workflows, provide troubleshooting support, and serve as the primary contact for the Admissions, Marketing, and Student Success team.
• Assist in developing ad hoc and campaign emails, including recipient lists, merge fields, and logic.
• Triage incoming requests, manage the Slate Helpdesk, and coordinate cycle preparation checklists in Asana.
• Provide support for events, including auditing templates, handling registrations, and offering day-of support.
• Ensure accurate user permissions, dedupe records, and assist with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 1-3 years in an enrollment services role, experience with CRM systems like Slate, strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in workflow management, and excellent organizational abilities.
• Preferred: Experience in higher education admissions or marketing, familiarity with Asana, and understanding of student recruitment processes.

This is a hybrid role requiring two days in-office in Philadelphia. Salary range: $7.25 - $30.00 hourly.
