Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Biochemistry or Chemistry
Chatham University is seeking applications for a full-time, Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Biochemistry or Chemistry to begin Fall 2026. Primary teaching responsibilities could include biochemistry I & II, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, general chemistry or other courses in the candidate’s area of expertise that align with departmental teaching needs. The successful candidate is expected to also develop and maintain an active undergraduate research program.
Completion of a PhD in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or a closely related field is required. ABD-PhD candidates with expected degree completion dates before September 2026 are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to those individuals with college teaching and mentoring experience.
