Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Positions at Baylor University School of Law
The Baylor University School of Law invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions beginning May 1, 2026:
- Business/Transactional Law: Primary teaching responsibilities will include upper-level electives in transactional, commercial, or business law, such as mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, securities regulation, debt financing, and business succession planning. Specific courses will align with Baylor Law’s curricular needs and the candidate’s expertise. Details for this position can be found here.
- Trusts and Estates: Teaching responsibilities are based on Baylor Law's curricular needs and applicant's experience; however primary teaching responsibilities are expected to include upper-level courses in trusts and estates, wealth transfers, estate planning, marital property, and estate administration. Both positions require the development and implementation of a scholarly research agenda.
