Uranium Geochemistry Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Position Summary:
The STARLAB at Central Michigan University is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on an NSF funded project aiming to investigate the U burial pathways in the oceans. The initial appointment is for one year; extension of the position is contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Geochemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with synchrotron-based absorption spectroscopy, trace metal analysis (concentration and isotope ratios), and/or clean room experience.
