"Vice Dean of Operations, School of Nursing"

The Vice Dean of Operations (VDO) within the School of Nursing serves as a key member of the leadership team within the School of Nursing at Georgetown University, overseeing critical operational areas to support the school's mission, strategic goals, and growth. The VDO provides leadership for Marketing & Communications, the Simulation Center, Clinical Education and Partnerships, and Compliance. The VDO and their teams will closely collaborate with all departments across SON to drive strategic solutions and ensure alignment across departments in order to reach enrollment goals. This role is responsible for overseeing operational excellence, driving partnerships, leveraging technology for efficiency, and maintaining budgetary oversight. The VDO will lead a team of four senior direct reports, charged with fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture. This role is instrumental in advancing the School of Nursing's operational excellence, ensuring its continued growth, and enhancing its impact in nursing education.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide strategic leadership to align operations with the School of Nursing's mission and goals.
• Oversee key operational areas including marketing, simulation, clinical partnerships, and compliance.
• Supervise and support department heads and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement across departments.
• Manage operational budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic resource allocation.
• Leverage technology and data to improve efficiency, decision-making, and program delivery.
• Lead special projects and initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
