WHAT YOU'LL DO
Under the general direction of the President, the Vice President of Student Services serves as the Chief Student Services Officer of the college responsible for the overall design, organization, delivery, supervision, evaluation, and fiscal management of a comprehensive student development program charged with promoting and delivering programs and services that enhance student and staff success, achievement, and retention.
The Vice President of Student Services has the oversight for functional areas that include: Admission & Records, Articulation, Student Equity Plan, Counseling, Educational Assistance Center (EAC), Transfer/Career Center, Extended Opportunities Programs & Services (EOPS), Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE), CalWORKS, Financial Aid, Student Health Center, Veterans Affairs, and Student Activities. Additional Responsibilities may be assigned or focus areas changed as college needs dictate.
There is one full-time assignment located at Oxnard College.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
Oxnard College was founded in 1975 and is the newest of the three community colleges in the county. Set on 118 acres and located two miles from Pacific Ocean beaches, the college is easily accessible by the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) or the Pacific Coast Highway.

Representative Duties

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a master's degree; and
- One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator's administrative assignment.
All coursework must be from a recognized accredited college or university.
Supplemental Information
SALARY RANGE
$12,750.92 - $17,086.83/month
With a doctorate add $6,576.48/year ($548.04 per month)
STARTING SALARY
Dependent on education and experience
Fringe benefits include family medical, dental, life, and vision insurance plans. The work year is 12 calendar months, including 20 vacation days per year, two floating holidays, and an additional three days off during the winter break.
