The Department of Economics at Wake Forest University invites applications for visiting assistant professor positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely-related field, although individuals with an ABD will also be considered. These individuals will be expected to teach undergraduate economics classes such as introduction to economics, intermediate microeconomics or macroeconomics, and possibly an economics elective.
Review of applications will begin immediately. The following materials should be submitted: cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness (such as course evaluations) if available, and two letters of reference.
