Position Summary
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Villanova University is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position. This is a one-semester appointment for Spring 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility is teaching up to 12 contact hours per semester with two new preparations. Candidates from all teaching areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering will be considered, with particular emphasis on those specializing in machine learning, cybersecurity, analog & digital electronics, and digital communications.
- The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.
Minimum Qualifications
- The candidate must hold an earned doctorate or master's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of undergraduate teaching experience.
- Strong teaching skills.
