Job Description
Primary Duties
Program Creation and Implementation
- Supervises the creation, provision and coordination of population-level interventions, group programs, risk management programs, trainings, social marketing/social norms campaigns, screening and awareness events.
- Prepare and oversee implementation of wellbeing education and healthy living and learning opportunities.
Wellbeing Initiative Compliance Oversight
- Conduct and analyze the institution’s biennial review for the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA).
- Establish and maintain a sustainable peer mentor/educator program.
Campus Assessment and Trainings
- Provide alcohol and drug assessments for students.
- Train Colorado State University Campus in Mental Health First Aid, QPR, bystander Intervention, Certified Peer Educator Certification.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelors degree from accredited institution.
- QPR certification, Mental Health First Aid Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
- 1 year experience in programming planning and event coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in health/health related classes taken
- Certified Peer Educator Train the Trainer from NASPA
- 4 plus years experience in event planning, program implementation, in the education setting
