Job Description

This is a part-time, credit-based position located in Austin, MN. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Riverland Community College, a member of the Minnesota State system, seeks a part-time Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. This position supports the Head Coach in developing and administering all aspects of the women's volleyball program, including practice, competition, recruitment, and student-athlete support.

Salary Range:

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
4 credits per season, ranging in $1,435 -$2,396 per credit

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One (1) year of volleyball coaching experience OR three (3) years of volleyball playing experience.

Preferred Qualification

• Associate's degree or higher.
• Knowledge of and adherence to NJCAA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of current styles and techniques and ability to demonstrate these techniques to others.
• Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
• Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities
