The Department of Medicine, Administration Division, is currently recruiting a Writer.

Primary Duties:
- Gather, write, and organize information for newsletters and other research and public information materials, including University website.
- Assists in organizing, formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading stories for publication.
- Organizes and maintains files on assigned materials. May help, create, and maintain website for department.
- Provide administrative support including assisting in the establishment and maintenance of budgets; participating in the development of conferences.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of budgets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, such as English, communications, or journalism.
Experience: One (1) year of experience in writing and editing documents. Demonstrated experience with writing and editing documents is strongly preferred.
Supervisory Experience: N/A
Certification/Licensure: N/A
Other: Related experience may be substituted for education.

Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. Hiring Range: $57,000 - $67,000, Commensurate with education and experience
