Masahiro Yamagaki serves as Professor and President of Osaka University of Economics and Law. He earned his Doctor of Economics from the Doctoral Program at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Economics. In his academic career at the university, which maintains faculties of Economics and Law, Yamagaki holds a prominent leadership position while continuing his scholarly contributions in the Economics Faculty. His teaching responsibilities include Social Policy and Research Guidance I and II, reflecting his expertise in these domains. Yamagaki is a member of the Society for Social Policy and the Economic Theory Society, underscoring his engagement with professional academic communities focused on economic and social policy issues.
Yamagaki's research specializations encompass social policy and labor economics, with focused interests in the theory of employment relations, labor-management relations, labor union movements, and dismissal regulations.
