Natalya Vladimirovna Vologina serves as Vice-Rector for Academic Work at Belarusian-Russian University, a position she has held since October 2018, following her earlier role as Vice-Rector for Academic Work and International Cooperation from September 2009. She earned her Candidate of Political Sciences degree in 1999 from the Department of Political Science at Belarusian State University, defending her dissertation titled 'Social Determinants of the Political Culture of Society.' In 2008, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Political Science. Her academic journey began with graduation in 1994 from the Historical Faculty of Mogilev State Pedagogical Institute named after A.A. Kuleshov, where she qualified as a teacher of history, socio-political disciplines, and fundamentals of law. She pursued postgraduate studies at Belarusian State University's Department of Political Science from 1996 to 1999 and doctoral studies there from 2004 to 2007. From 1994, Vologina worked at the Department of Political Science and Sociology at Mogilev State University named after A.A. Kuleshov, advancing through positions from laboratory assistant to associate professor. In 2007, she joined Belarusian-Russian University as Head of the Department of Humanities Disciplines.
Currently, Vologina co-directs the A.A. Gromyko Center for Eurasian Studies at Belarusian-Russian University since 2022 and leads the Mogilev Regional Branch of the Republican Public Association 'Belarusian Society of Political Scientists.' Since 2020, she has been the leader of the main educational program in the field of Foreign Area Studies (41.03.01 Зарубежное регионоведение). Her research interests include the history, theory, and methodology of political science; the theory of political culture; sociology of culture; and the history and sociocultural development of East Slavic states. She has authored more than 60 scientific and methodological works approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, including the 2009 monograph 'Political Culture: Theory and Methodology' and contributions to the textbook 'Political Science' edited by N.A. Antonovich, recommended for higher education students.
