SUMMARYThe Department of Dance at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings.
JOB FUNCTIONSEssential Functions:
- Teaches dance studio or lecture courses as assigned by the chair
- Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
- Produces effective course materials
- Achieves student learning outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in dance or a related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Fine Arts degree or Doctorate in dance or a related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized recognized college or university
- Significant teaching experience
Work Schedule: Variable
Salary and Benefits:
$5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
