SUMMARY

The Department of Psychology, Philosophy, and Neuroscience at SUNY Brockport is seeking applicants for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty for the Psychology program.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:
Teaching (100%)

  • Teaches assigned psychology courses in the Department of Psychology, Philosophy and Neuroscience
  • Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
  • Produces effective course materials
  • Achieves student learning outcomes
  • Holds open office hours for students

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology or closely related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in psychology
  • Significant teaching experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary and Benefits:

$5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
