West Chester University of Pennsylvania Facilities Division invites applicants for the position of Custodial Team Lead (CW2). The available shift is Sunday to Thursday 10:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m.

This position is responsible for the operational conduct of housekeeping services for an assigned area within the University including academic, administrative, residential, and athletic facilities areas. The CW2 provides staffing and operational oversight for two to ten employees engaged in providing the full range of housekeeping services.

The CW2 delegates the authority to prioritize work within the assigned area to maintain departmental work standards, work assignments, cleaning policies and procedure goals and objectives. This position requires you to make decisions based on a full knowledge of these guidelines. Deviations from these guidelines must be reported and/or approved by supervisor or management.

As a member of the Facilities Divisional staff, this position is deemed essential. Essential employees must remain or report to work during partial or full day closings of the University due to hazardous road conditions, emergency circumstances or for other reasons.

One year as a Custodial Worker 1 (commonwealth title) OR; One year of experience performing custodial work
