We are seeking a conscientious, organised and community-minded Academic Advisor to join the Academic Office team. If you enjoy working with people, value accuracy and professionalism, and want to contribute to a supportive higher education environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
The role
As a key member of the Academic Office, you will:
- Provide administrative support to students, in particular supporting them with resolving progression and examination issues.
- Line manage the Academic Officer - Student Records and Progression and provide on-going support to carry out their duties
- Hold responsibility for maintaining accurate and informative student records
- Conduct regular reviews to identify, develop and implement improvements to processes.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience of process design and systems management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and adapt where necessary
- Experience and knowledge of student support or progression in further or higher education
