Job Description

Primary responsibility is to prepare, track and maintain the Academy application process and to fulfill other administrative duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Retrieve application through email (once filled out by applicant, sent directly to my inbox) or mail
• Enter all information from application into CAMS database.
• Fax request for transcript and SAT/ACT scores from applicants high school
• When transcript is received obtain file and mark GPA, RANK, SAT.ACT scores in file as well as in CAMS database.
• Forward information to the counselor, who will review the applicant for acceptance, conditionally accepted or rejected.
• Change CAMS to “prospect” to “students” or if rejected applicant stays as a “prospect” with “rejected” as the applicants status.
• Distribute copies of the application to the right personnel
• Send documents to parents regarding medicine, past school records, etc.
• Answer telephones, assist callers with needed information or transfer to other departments.
• Schedule appointments for potential applicants who wish to have an interview/tour with an Admissions Counselor.
• Assist the Director of Financial Aid

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required, bachelors degree desired.
• Minimum of two-(2) years administrative experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

JOB TYPE:

• Part Time

SCHEDULE:

• 8-hour shift / 20-30 hours per week
• May include some weekend work
