Position Overview:

The School of Nursing & Health Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach Anatomy and Physiology 1 Fall semester 2025. The meeting times and other info are as follows:

• HSC1122-G (Anatomy and Physiology 1): Monday/Wednesday – 2:00-3:50 PM. 9/2/2025-12/19/2025. Location: Main Campus – Orielly Hall, Room 210.

HSC1122 is a required freshman level class for all incoming students in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. It is an integrated model without separate labs and lectures. You would be responsible along with an undergraduate peer mentor for a classroom of 25 to 30 students across all potential majors in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Responsibilities:

• Duties include delivering lecture instruction in a classroom setting, facilitation/ guiding of lab based hands-on activities, administering exams, grading students’ assignments and 1 hour of in person/virtual office hours per week. Dedication to broaden the education of students and expand their knowledge and the application of anatomy and physiology is expected.

Position Qualifications:

Masters or better in Health Sciences or related fields with an emphasis on clinical application of anatomy and physiology in professional life. At least two years of college teaching experience is strongly recommended of candidates applying with a Master’s.

Work Location

This is an on-campus position as employees are essential in order to provide a fully on-campus, residential college experience for our students and the community.
