Adjunct - AY26 Vocational Education Instructor, Hospitality
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is accepting applications for part-time Vocational Education - Hospitality positions for the 2026 Academic School Year. The adjunct instructor should be prepared to teach Hospitality, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning. Successful candidates will collaborate, communicate, and work as professionals with students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment, or an Associate's degree and six years of such experience. A sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students is required.
Duties involve teaching Hospitality and fostering culturally responsive interactions. Faculty may be required to conduct classes in a virtual learning environment using platforms like Canvas.
