Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct faculty teaching in the Hospitality department. Classes may be event, culinary, or hospitality related. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are on-going recruitment efforts. Applicants are contacted/hired for assignments based on college needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Culinary or Baking and Pastry Arts is desired.
• Five (5) years supervisory work experience in a restaurant or bakery is preferred.
• Currently ServSafe Certified or become Certified upon hire.
• Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.
• Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
