JOB DUTIES
- Record Attendance and timely grades and feedback for students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Attend workshops and training sessions on teaching methods.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and academic standards.
- Participate in adjunct faculty meetings with course coordinator (once a semester)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging and clear lectures related to Audio Technology and the use of DAW's using Adobe Audition, DAW plug-ins, Analog & Digital Audio Consoles, Microphones, Speakers, Digital Audio Recorders.
- Develop and update syllabi, lesson plans, and course materials.
- Align course objectives with institutional learning outcomes.
- Stay updated with trends and changes in Audio Technology.
- Foster an interactive classroom environment group discussions and real-world applications.
- Provide hands-on lab instruction and supervision.

None
WORKING CONDITIONS
Teaching opportunities may include day, evening, or weekend classes.
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Positions in this class typically require ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work:Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production, Communication, Film/Video Production or related field from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) or more years of experience teaching in Higher Education.
- Experience using Blackboard or similar Learning Management Systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in Audio Production or related field from an accredited institution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to deliver engaging, clear, and organized lectures.
- Ability to establish rapport with students, faculty, and staff.
- Familiarity with current trends in Audio Technology
- Skill in designing fair and rigorous assessments, including exams, essays, and evaluations.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to foster student improvement.
- Ability to address classroom challenges, resolve conflicts, and adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic academic environment.
- Effective use of instructional technology in the college classroom.
