| Description: The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston invites applications for temporary adjunct faculty positions in the Higher Education program. The Higher Education program offers an M.Ed. in Higher Education (in-person and online) and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies. As a nontenure track (NTT) position, the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure at the University of Houston. Qualifications: A doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, Policy Studies, or a related field. A history of successful administrative or faculty experience in the discipline. Competency in assigned course content area(s). Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear understanding of adult learning theory (engaging adult students). Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners. Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates.
