Position Overview: The Adjunct Faculty members teach Artificial Intelligence courses to students in the Bachelor in Science program. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

What you will be doing: Teaches lecture and laboratory sections; Evaluates and advises students; Develops curricula; Maintains department standards; Recruits and participates in retention of students; Serves on committees; Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed: Master's degree in Geographical Information Systems Technology, Geospatial or Spatial Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering; or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in one or any of the following fields: Geographical Information Systems Technology, Geospatial or Spatial Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering. All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution; Experience with applied learning methodologies; Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills; Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written); Ability to work well with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment; Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments.
