Adjunct Health Care Professional Development Program Faculty - Nursing
Position Summary
The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing seeks applications for the position of Adjunct Health Care Professional Development (HCPD) Program Faculty in Nursing. The HCPD Program has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct (part-time) faculty to provide expertise in clinical/patient care, healthcare leadership and professional development instruction in a variety of HCPD courses. Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand the course and objectives of the course to which they are assigned and be familiar with the overall curriculum of the HCPD Program in the College of Nursing.
- Assist the participants to accomplish the objectives of the course.
- Validate participants' understanding of theoretical, scientific, and evidence-based practice to support safe and effective care.
- Evaluate participants' practice and provide feedback on their accomplishment of meeting the program objectives.
- Guide participants in their growth in the nursing profession.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education:
- Master's in nursing or health related field
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania
Work Skills:
- Experience in clinical/leadership/education specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in teaching in an academic or healthcare setting; willingness to be flexible in fulfilling responsibilities.
