Adjunct Instructor - Debugging with the Professional - Professional Game Development

The ETC course 53-646 Debugging with the Professionals - Professional Game Development is seeking an adjunct instructor for the second half of the fall 2025 term.

This course is designed to prepare students for a role as a software developer in the entertainment industry. It will supplement their prior work in project courses by adding experience that will be helpful when working in a production environment. Students will practice with tools and techniques which have been identified in collaboration with ETC alumni and industry veterans. They will also develop habits and skills which their future teammates will be delighted to find they have. Although students will not be building new games in this course, they will draw from relevant experiences in other projects, supplemented artifacts curated by the instructor.

Units: 12

Course Time: 10:00am-11:50am, Mondays and Wednesdays, October 20th - November 14th

Location: PTC 5208 (700 Technology Drive)

We are seeking applicants with a strong professional background in software development. Applicants must have at least earned a bachelor’s degree in their discipline.
