Adjunct Instructor - Physics
Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, adjunct instructors provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success.
Essential Performance Requirements: Accepts and teaches classes based on varied schedules and modalities as assigned by designated supervisor; Accommodates student needs and external stakeholders' expectations; Prepares and delivers instruction; Communicates regularly with students; Independently pursues activities to enhance expertise; Prepares assignments and assessments; Designs and maintains an active classroom environment; Maintains student attendance records; Evaluates student performance; Provides regular feedback; Assigns grades; Assists in assessing learning outcomes; Accepts assignments at other sites.
Service Excellence: Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College; Completes required training; Attends work regularly; Adheres to policies and procedures; Adheres to safety procedures.
Performs Other Related Tasks as Required.
