Opportunity Description

Seattle Central College is looking to hire a temporary Administrative Assistant 2, working with the District Nursing Program.

Salary Range for this position is $46,176 to $60,120 annually (depending on experience). The anticipated starting salary for this position is $54,432 annually.

Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin November 17th, 2025.

As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for being a key member of the team that works to support the dean/associate dean of nursing across the district. In this role, you will support the deans, arrange for meetings, take notes, work with student referrals to the appropriate support person, attend info sessions, technical advisory meetings, and campus meetings across all three campuses and other duties as assigned.

This position is a Temporary Full -time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00AM-4:00PM with occasional evening coverage needed.

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE.

What you bring as a candidate:

  • You have a high school diploma and one year of clerical, office, or administrative experience or equivalent education/ experience.
  • You have experience applying a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement to solve business challenges
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, particularly related to distilling complex concepts for a variety of audiences
  • You have a self-possessed demeanor and ability to work well under time pressure and on high-stakes projects
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
  • You are detail-oriented with experience consistently delivering high quality work products
  • You can use Microsoft office products: Outlook, Teams, excel, word etc.
