Administrative Coordinator
Position Summary
Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior Department Administrator and Supervisor.
This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:
- Supports and helps to coordinate the administrative functions and operations for the Division of Enrollment Management.
- budgeting, accounting, grant management, purchasing, business services, human resources, operations, and facilities management.
- Supports the day-to-day administration and operations of the Division of Enrollment Management, ensuring an inviting customer-friendly atmosphere for students, families, faculty, administrators, and all visitors.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis and writing
- Also requires two years of professional relevant experience preferably in a business office, government agency, or academic setting
