Administrative Coordinator
Job Description
This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the leadership of the Office of Education in the School of Public Health, specifically to the Senior Associate Dean of Education and the Assistant Dean of Education. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing meeting agendas, responding to inquiries, organizing travel and processing expense reports of the Office of Education. The Administrative Coordinator will provide support to marketing and student recruitment, and student support programs, at the direction of the Senior Associate Dean.
The position will have responsibility for staffing the front desk of the Office of Education and will answer phones, greet visitors, and provide guidance and direction to students. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day office operations, and for maintaining current knowledge of, interpreting and applying, applicable University policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must be organized, personable, dependable, and have the ability to multitask.
This is an onsite position.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 -2 years of experience as an office manager, office clerk, administrative assistant, front office manager, or similar role. Business or office-related financial experience preferred. Knowledge of Workday is preferred, but not required.
Job Competencies
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, accept instructions and handle vendor contracts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google email and calendar functionality, with basic knowledge of computer troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Highly organized and able to multitask and manage a wide variety of tasks
- Personable and professional with strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
- Demonstrated ability to propose and execute creative solutions for administrative challenges.
- Working knowledge of mail processes
- Reliability and discretion
