General Summary

Odessa College, a leading community college for student success in the nation has an opening for Part Time American Sign Language Instructor. This part time position is responsible for the instruction of courses in American Sign Language. Instructors are educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality instruction for a diverse student population and performing instructional duties and responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies and procedures of the college. Part Time employees work a maximum of up to 19 hours per week.

Specific Position Duties

This position places a priority on candidates with the desire and ability to create a classroom culture that positively engages and impacts students, and the willingness and ability to actively engage in college, department, and program initiatives that support the college strategic plan. We are seeking talented candidates who value and support the college goals of improving student success and retention, increasing attainment rate and transfers, and closing the gap for underrepresented students.
