Responsibilities

Animal Care Technician, I

• Clean and disinfect animal cages and equipment
• Operate washroom equipment, including rack, tunnel and cabinet washers; autoclaves, disposal units, bedding dispensers and portable washers
• Basic record keeping in logbooks
• Work with cleaning and disinfecting chemicals
• Sanitize washroom and storage areas

Minimum Qualifications

Animal Care Technician, I:

Requires little to no related experience.
