"Application Developer II"

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Application Developer II for the Office of Information Technology. Under the direction of a Project Manager/Associate Director for Enterprise Application Services (EAS), this position provides analytical and programming support for the Financial Aid/Enrollment management and other university administrative and academic offices. This position serves as one of the primary system administrators for the enterprise Oracle Student Financial Planning (OSFP) environment.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Assists in managing necessary system upgrades in all OSFP environments as well as testing all impacted areas and workflows.
• Assists with basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
• Works with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
• Assists in training of new users, and grow the OSFP skill set across the organization.
• Works with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
• Assists in coordinating the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of relevant experience in the development of web and database applications using Java. Three years of relevant experience in ETL processes using PL/SQL.

Salary: A maximum of $125233 is budgeted for this position.
