Position Description
Seeking qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments, possibly including day, evening, weekend, in-person, online, or hybrid courses. Applications are accepted year-round and remain in the pool for two years.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach 3-D Design/Sculpture/Glass classes per established course outlines.
- Evaluate student work and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records like grades and attendance.
- Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
- Perform duties as per Board policy, faculty contract, and Handbook.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's in fine arts, art, or art history; or Bachelor's in these fields and Master's in humanities; or equivalent. Must demonstrate commitment to equity, anti-racism, and serving diverse students. For more details, visit: Minimum Qualifications Link.
Desirable Qualifications
- Teaching experience at community college level.
- Use of innovative teaching methods.
- Creating equitable and inclusive classroom materials.
- Addressing equity issues and supporting minoritized students.
- Experience with computer technology and course management systems.

- Ability to work in a team environment.
