Job Description

Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments in Art with a Ceramics Emphasis. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend courses, and may be in-person, online, or hybrid.

Salary: $73.16 - $123.23 Hourly

Location: Fremont Campus, Newark Center, and/or eCampus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Ceramics classes in accordance with established course outlines.
• Evaluate student work and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records such as grades and attendance.
• Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
• Perform duties as per Board policy and faculty handbook.

Minimum Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the community college level.
• Use of innovative teaching methods and technology.
• Experience in creating equitable and inclusive classroom materials.
