Scope of Job:
We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship's undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in marketing, conduct scholarly research, and engage in service-related activities.

Minimum Qualifications for Appointment as Assistant Professor:

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution (ABDs will be considered, but a Ph.D. is required no later than the proposed start date).
• Demonstrated potential for high-quality research and effective teaching.
• Desire to work collegially with faculty and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications for Appointment as Associate Professor:

• Current tenured appointment at a comparable institution of higher education.
• Demonstrated record of research and teaching excellence.
