Assistant/Associate Professor of Music Therapy Non-Tenure Track Appointment
Job Details
POSITION: Full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track appointment in Music Therapy. We seek an outstanding scholar and teacher who will contribute to our mission of academic excellence, innovative research, and inclusive education.
RANK/SALARY: Assistant or Associate Professor non-tenure track appointment in Music Therapy. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Music Therapy using innovative and research-based practices. Contribute to departmental and college service.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Master’s degree in Music Therapy or related field, PhD preferred. Required evidence of experience as a music therapist (minimum 6 years). Required evidence of teaching undergraduate and graduate students in music therapy. Required potential for excellence in teaching students from different backgrounds and contributing to inclusive, accessible spaces for all students. Evidence of creative scholarship, collaborative, and interdisciplinary work.
