Essential Job Duties:
This is a temporary position that will assist the Broadcast Engineer to determine technical aspects of the WolfBytes broadcast environment. In addition, the position will consult with clients to determine video and audio requirements and act on those requirements to deliver finished product.
Candidate will be responsible for running a complete field broadcast from stage to setup, execution and breakdown.
Other Work/Responsibilities:
Assist in training staff and students to use broadcast production equipment.
Candidate should be willing to "get into the weeds," to learn and troubleshoot equipment in a broadcast environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic broadcast switching experience
- Knowledge of broadcast and livestream environment
- Comfort in working with a small team in an educational environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with vMix or similar production switchers
- Understanding of Dante audio interface
- Experience with audio routing and mixer operation
- Understanding on NDI/SRT or other IP video workflows
- Final Cut Pro experience is a plus but not a requirement
