Position Summary
Responsible for directing the activities of the Career Connected Learning team to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Manage a team focused on student registration and student retention, ensuring productivity and achievement of adult basic program goals in Workforce Education.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and workflows to enhance organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage grant funds for student tuition needs to ensure financial resources are effectively utilized for program operations.
- Stay informed on trends and best practices in adult education, incorporating new methods and technologies to improve processes.
- Utilize independent judgment while working collaboratively with team members, representing the program to stakeholders, the public, and business partners.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, making decisions that align with the organization's vision, mission, and goals.
- Provide staff with necessary tools, resources, and materials, fostering a results-oriented and supportive work environment.
- Communicate effectively, demonstrating outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Maintain compliance with district policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Physical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field plus five (5) years of work-related experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Official transcripts are required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred. Spanish fluency
- Experience with Navigate EAB, Salesforce, Advanced Excel
- Experience with grant-funded adult basic education programs

Key Responsibilities
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse internal/external stakeholders and constituents within Dallas College community network.
- Complete required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
- Perform other job duties as required.
