Description
The Department of Therapeutic Radiology at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking applications for a position in the Clinician Educator-Scholar Track at the Assistant Professor level to provide clinical care within our regional network. Candidates will be expected to contribute to our clinical, educational, and research missions.
The Yale Department of Therapeutic Radiology has state-of-the-art clinical and laboratory facilities, and the clinical program serves over 4,000 new patients annually. The department consists of 30 clinical faculty along with 17 Ph.D. physicists and 10 laboratory-based basic scientists. The department is an integral part of the NCI-designated Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center and supports an ACGME accredited four-year residency program in radiation oncology affiliated with the Yale-New Haven Health System. In addition to the YNHH facility in the Smilow Cancer Hospital, the department staffs multiple affiliated radiation therapy facilities in the State of Connecticut, which are fully integrated into our clinical program. These associated facilities participate in our ongoing clinical, research and educational programs. We also anticipate opening a proton beam facility in 2026. The department also features more than 16,000 sf of recently renovated laboratory space and has a long history of basic science and translational research contributions.

Qualifications
Candidates should be board certified/board eligible in radiation oncology, and academically oriented with a strong interest in patient care.
