Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering
The School of Biomedical Engineering at The University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure track). The School is a partnership between the Faculties of Applied Science and Medicine, focused on research, education, and innovation in biomedical engineering. The successful candidate will lead an independent research program, participate in teaching and mentoring, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Key research areas include next-generation RNA modalities, delivery and targeting, synthetic/computational biology integration, and biomanufacturing of RNA systems. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in bioengineering or related fields, demonstrate scholarly activity, and be eligible for a P.Eng. license. The expected salary is $145,000 to $155,000 per annum.
